The BV-L2000BSPDN0015AC000DA is a DN15 (1/2") double acting pneumatic actuated stainless steel ball valve supplied without a solenoid valve (air only). This configuration is chosen when the solenoid valve is to be mounted separately — for example in a manifold bank, a centralised valve island, or where the customer wishes to specify their own solenoid. Simply supply compressed air to both ports of the actuator via an external 5/2-way solenoid to control the open and close movement. The Actreg actuator delivers reliable, repeatable torque in both directions and the 316 equivalent stainless steel body is suited to a wide range of process media.
Key Features
- Air Only (No Solenoid) – Supplied without a solenoid, giving maximum flexibility. Connect your own 5/2-way directional control valve to pilot the actuator. Ideal for manifold-mounted solenoid arrangements or when a specific solenoid specification is required.
- Double Acting Actuator (Air Open / Air Close) – Air pressure drives both opening and closing strokes for fast, positive action in both directions. The valve holds its last position on air failure — suitable for processes where the valve should remain where it is on loss of supply.
- Stainless Steel CF8M Body – 316 equivalent stainless steel provides excellent corrosion resistance to water, steam, mild acids, and many process chemicals. Full bore design means no restriction to flow and low pressure drop.
- Hard Anodized Aluminium Actuator Housing – Lightweight yet tough, the hard anodized finish provides excellent resistance to corrosion, abrasion, and UV exposure.
- PTFE Seats – Virgin PTFE seats offer low friction operation, excellent chemical resistance, and a reliable bubble-tight seal across a wide temperature range.
- No Manual Override – This variant does not include a manual override. If manual operation is required during maintenance, specify an alternative variant with screw-type or lever override.
- DN15 (1/2") Size – A common industrial pipe size, suitable for water, compressed air, hydraulic oil, chemical dosing, and many other flow control applications.
